Notice is hereby given that due to the resignation of Cllr Tracey Read a vacancy exists in the office of Parish/Town Councillor for the Parish of Peover Superior.

The Vacancy will be filled by election if, within fourteen days (not counting a Saturday or Sunday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Good Friday, or a Bank Holiday) from the date of this notice, any ten local government electors for the said electoral area submit a written request to that effect in the manner prescribed below and if no such request is made, the vacancy will be filled by the Parish/Town Council.

Any request for an election to be held to fill the vacancy must be in writing and sent to the Returning Officer, East Cheshire Borough Council, Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach, CW11 1HZ not later than 5th February 2016.
